Joint Labor Committee Meeting Summary (December 4-6, 2002)

The Joint Labor, Health and Social Services Interim Committee met in Cheyenne to hear testimony from interested parties with respect to various Department of Health reports that have been submitted to the Committee as required by law, the impending crisis in medical malpractice liability insurance, and proposed tort reform proposals. The Committee also considered proposed legislation carried over from its previous meeting and new bill drafts relating to tort reform.  The Committee has completed its work for the 2002 interim.
