Assumptions:

 

  1. Average temporary vehicle registered is 3 years old with an average factory price of $15,000.

 

  1. The total decrease in revenue to the Highway Fund is estimated at $42,000 per year, and is reflected in the table above.

¨      The 15-day registration fee will decrease revenues to the Highway Fund by approximately $1,700 per year.

¨      The 120-day registration fee will decrease revenues to the Highway Fund by approximately $40,300 per year.

 

  1. This bill will also decrease revenues at the county level. The total revenue decrease is estimated at $500,000 per year.

¨      The 15-day registration fee will decrease revenues to the counties by approximately $20,000 per year.

¨      The 120-day registration fee will decrease revenues to the counties by approximately $480,000 per year.
