Representative Cooper, Chairman of the Towing Truck Subcommittee of the Joint Transportation and Highways Interim Committee, has announced the above subcommittee will meet:

August 12, 2003

Time:  9:00 a.m.

Place: Jeffery Memorial Community Center

Rawlins, Wyoming

The purpose of the meeting is for the Subcommittee to study requirements for tow trucks: overweight requirements, appropriate distances and a self-permitting process.  The Subcommittee will also look at any conflicts between the United States and the Department of Transportation jurisdiction regarding tow trucks.

NOTE:             Any written materials presented to the Subcommittee are also requested to be submitted to the Subcommittee on diskette in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word or ASCII format.  The text of all materials submitted on diskette will be included in the minutes of the Committee which are available on Legislative Web Site (HTTP://LEGISWEB.STATE.WY.US).  All materials submitted in written format will still be part of the Subcommittee's official minutes on file at LSO.
