AN ACT relating to motor vehicles; requiring an appearance in court as specified; providing an additional penalty for violations resulting in accidents with serious bodily injury or death as specified; providing for a permanent driver's record of convictions for accidents involving serious bodily injury or death; and providing for an effective date.

"(h)  The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting in the death or serious bodily injury, as defined by 31-5-233(h), of another person shall, if issued a citation for a moving violation under this act, be required to appear personally in court for the disposition of the citation.  If the driver is convicted of the moving violation, except a conviction under W.S. 31-5-233(h), and the death or serious bodily injury was the direct result of the conduct constituting the moving violation, the driver shall be subject to the following penalties in addition to any other penalties prescribed by law:".
