STATUTORY AUTHORITY: W.S. 11-6-304(d)
DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE BASED UPON INFORMATION
SUBMITTED BY THE AGENCY TO LSO: Notice of the proposed adoption of new rules was provided by the LSO as required by W.S. 28‑9‑103(d). No comments have been received to date. Since these are new rules, they were not submitted in a strike and underline format. Otherwise, procedural compliance is apparently complete to date.
SUMMARY OF RULES: These rules are being promulgated in response to 2006 Session Laws, Chapter 87, which provided funds for the predator management program. Generally, these rules include: definitions, the applicability to the districts receiving grant funding, qualification for funding and how the funding will be distributed, the grant application process, requires a budget and a management plan to be provided by the districts and requires reporting from the districts.
FINDINGS: The rules appear to be within the scope of statutory authority and legislative intent.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: That the rules be placed on the Consent List and be approved by the Council as submitted by the Agency.
