SUBJECT:                                 Repeal of Chapter 1, General Provisions; Chapter 2, Budget Procedures; Chapter 3, Administrative Procedures; and Chapter 4, Operational Capabilities, PSCC Rules.

STATUTORY AUTHORITY:         W.S. 9-2-1104(a)(v)

 

DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE BASED UPON INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE AGENCY TO LSO:   Apparently complete to date.

 

SUMMARY OF RULES:

 

The Public Safety Communications Commission ("PSCC") has repealed the Law Enforcement Communications Commission ("LECC") rules.  The LECC rules were promulgated for the administration of the LECC radio system.  The LECC is the predecessor agency to the PSCC and was abolished by the Legislature in 2004.

 

FINDINGS:  The rules, repealing the LECC's rules, appear to be within the scope of statutory authority and legislative intent.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  That the rules be placed on the Consent List and be approved by the Council as submitted by the Agency.
