STATUTORY AUTHORITY:         W.S. 23-1-302

 

DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE BASED UPON INFORMATION

SUBMITTED BY THE AGENCY TO LSO:  Apparently complete to date.

 

SUMMARY OF RULES:

 

Chapter 14 sets seasons and bag limits for late migratory game bird hunting seasons. 

 

Chapter 49, regulating private fish stocking, has been amended to recognize the current restrictions and nomenclature used when referring to aquatic invasive species. 

 

Chapter 51, regulating fish hatcheries, has been amended to clarify that fish health inspection reports are valid for a one year period following the date of the results rather than the date the samples to be tested were collected.  The rules also remove golden shiners from the non-salmonid species allowed.

 

FINDINGS:  The rules appear to be within the scope of statutory authority and legislative intent.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  That the rules be placed on the Consent List and approved by the Council as submitted by the Agency.
