Joint Appropriations Committee



Senator Phil Nicholas and Representative Rosie Berger, Co-chairmen of the Joint Appropriations Committee, have announced the Committee will meet:


June 18 & 19, 2009

Time: 9:00 a.m.

Capitol Building, Room 204

Cheyenne, Wyoming




The purpose of the meeting is to discuss CREG revisions and potential budget reductions made by the Governor.  Additionally, the committee will discuss interim topics related to retirees’ cost of living allowances, employees’ group insurance inclusion of school district employees, federal stimulus funding developments, abandoned mine lands funding issues, juvenile justice issues, and information on the various statutes authorizing criminal background checks for state agencies .  The Legislative Service Office will distribute an agenda for this meeting at a later date and the agenda will be available on the legislative Web site at:
