School Foundation Program Fiscal Profile and Federal ARRA (Stimulus) Updates.

Updates on school foundation program account fiscal profile based upon May 2009 CREG revenue projections and executive allocation of federal stimulus funds pertaining to education.

 

LSO/WDE Staff Updates.

 

School Foundation Program Spending Reductions.

Committee interim assignments included the development of a process to effectuate foundation program spending reductions if necessary, dependent upon foundation revenue projections.  To initiate Committee discussion, information designed to assist with policy formation will be provided and discussed.

 

LSO/WDE Staff Reports.

 

Special Education/Transportation Funding.

Additional Committee interim assignments included a review of current reimbursement mechanisms, practices and policies for transportation and special education.  Information assisting Committee initiation of this study effort will be provided and discussed.

A report by the Department of Education on program effectiveness and resulting impact on student achievement.
