Joint Agriculture, State and Public Lands, and Water Resources Interim Committee

 

 

Senator Gerald Geis and Representative Mark Semlek, Co-chairmen of the Joint Agriculture, State and Public Lands and Water Resources Interim Committee, have announced the Committee will meet:

 

May 13 and 14, 2009

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

DeWitt Student Center – Trapper Room

Northwest College

Powell, Wyoming

 

Agenda

 

The purpose of the meeting is to begin the discussion of interim topics including: animal disease, response and care, pet animal care, water management, invasive plants, rangeland monitoring and archaic laws.  The Committee will receive background on state agencies, including:  the Livestock Board, State Forestry, Office of State Lands, Department of Agriculture, Water Development Office, State Engineer and the Business Council.  A tentative agenda for the meeting is included with this meeting notice and is also available on the legislative Web site at: http://legisweb.state.wy.us/.
