·         Wyoming Department of Transportation update on Transportation Improvement Program projects and Tribal transportation endeavors.  Presented by Cody Beers, WYDOT District 5.

 

10:00 a.m.       Break

 

10:15 a.m.       Workforce Services

·         Wind III Study update presented by Joan Evans.

 

10:45 a.m.       Health and Safety

·         Department of Health, Betty Soans update multicultural issues: Rural and Frontier Health.

 

 

11:15 a.m.       Introduction of upcoming issues involving taxation and revenue on the Reservation.  At the request of the Committee, Mr. Orville St. Claire, Shoshone Business Council Member, will present the Tribal perspective.  The Agency perspective will be presented by Mr. Ed Schmidt (tentatively), Director, Department of Revenue.  

·         How taxes are administered and imposed on the Reservation (TERO and Severance).

·         Who and what is taxable?

·         Tax collection.

·         Status of exemptions.
