School Facilities Commission Reorganization.

2010 Laws, Chapter 39, Section 341, requires the Select Committee to prepare a plan for the reorganization of the School Facilities Commission and submit the plan to the Joint Appropriations Committee on or before September 1, 2010.

School Facilities Commission.

 

·        Building assessment criteria for building condition, capacity, educational suitability and technology readiness and use of criteria in scheduling school building remedies.

 

·        Major maintenance proposal whereby funds are pooled statewide for distribution to school districts to address major maintenance needs and associated implications for future building component funding needs.
