AN
ACT relating to unemployment compensation; prohibiting contribution rate
manipulation; prescribing civil and criminal penalties for contribution rate
manipulation; amending child support withholding as specified; clarifying
redetermination authority and notices as specified; clarifying that a temporary
service contractor is the employing unit of a temporary worker; prescribing the
contribution rate upon transfer of a business as specified; conforming
provisions concerning duties transferred to the department of workforce
services; amending information sharing authority and procedures; eliminating
the one-week waiting period for benefits; providing definitions; and providing
for an effective date.
