AN
ACT relating to rural health care districts; providing procedures for
establishing districts; authorizing districts to operate clinics to alleviate
shortages in the availability of health care including physicians and other
primary health care providers; modifying procedures for establishing special
rural health districts; modifying district powers; authorizing increased mill
levies for special rural health districts with a vote of the people;
authorizing districts to use governmental funds to establish private clinics as
an economic development measure with a vote of the people; and providing for an
effective date.
