Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Requires the department of game and fish to notify the county sheriff within five (5) days of the release of each relocated grizzly bear.

 

·        Requires the department of game and fish to issue a press release to the media and the sheriff when each grizzly bear is relocated.

 

Comments:

 

·  Report Required:  The department of game and fish shall submit an annual report to the joint travel, recreation, wildlife and cultural resources interim committee no later than January 15 of each year.  The report shall also be made available to the public.
