Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        The state water pollution control revolving loan account is administered by the state loan and investment board (SLIB) and is used to loan monies to public entities for the construction of wastewater treatment facilities.

 

·        Current law allows financial assistance to be given to municipalities, counties, joint powers boards and state agencies.

 

·        Bill allows other political subdivisions to receive funding from the account.
