Subject:  Amends the duty-connected total or partial disability allowance under the state highway patrol, game and fish warden and criminal investigator retirement program.

 

 

Summary/Major Elements:

·        Under current law, the disability allowance under the state highway patrol, game and fish warden and criminal investigator retirement program is 50% of the highest average salary of the member for duty-connected or ordinary total or partial disability.

 

·        This bill retains the 50% disability allowance for ordinary total or partial disability, but increases the total or partial disability allowance for duty-connected disability to 62.5%.
