Subject:  Authorizes the use of tribal identification cards when identification is required.

 

Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Tribal identification cards issued by the governing body of the Eastern Shoshone tribe of Wyoming or Northern Arapahoe tribe of Wyoming will be considered a valid form of identification for all purposes for which an identification card may be used.

 

·        Provides for penalties if the tribal identification card is used in an illegal or fraudulent manner.

 

·        Amends specific statutes to allow for the use of the tribal identification card.
