·        Modifies major maintenance payment dates from current biannual September and March dates to annual July date, enabling availability of complete major maintenance funds at the beginning of each school year during the summer months when schools are not operational;

 

·        Bases payment computations upon prior year square footage as opposed to current year square footage because of payment date change (district building square footage is computed and reported on September 1 of each school year);

 

·        Reverts payments back to biannual dates if sufficient funds are not available within the school capital construction account for July annual payment.
