Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        The Select Committee on Developmental Programs was created by 2004 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 104, and charged with studying the Developmental Disability Division's program for services to adults and its program for developmental preschool services.

 

·        The committee filed a report on the adult programs as required on October 1, 2004.  The report on preschool services is due October 1, 2005.

 

·        This act requires an additional report from the committee on the Department of Health's implementation of the committee's 2004 recommendations for the adult program.

 

Comments:

 

·  The select committee shall report to the legislature and the governor by October 1, 2005, on the implementation of recommended changes in delivery of services to adults with developmental disabilities.
