·        Authorizes the secretary of state to adopt rules allowing business entities which are required to file annual reports to do so electronically.

 

·        Authorizes the same for annual fees, and provides that those fees may be paid by credit card, electronic transfer of funds or other means.

 

·        Provides a penalty of up to $1,000 and six months in jail for knowingly filing a false report electronically.
