Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Under current law, courts determine child support using the income guidelines specified in W.S. 20-2-304.

 

·        This bill:

 

·        Amends the income amounts specified in W.S. 20-2-304 used to calculate child support obligations in the state;

 

·        Specifies that a support obligor's social security or veteran's benefits shall be counted as gross income to the obligor for purpose of computing the obligor's child support obligation.
