Subject:  Amends the deadline for filing a complaint under the Wyoming Fair Employment Practices Act.

 

 

Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Under current law, any person claiming to be aggrieved by a discriminatory or unfair employment practice under the Wyoming Fair Employment Practices Act may file a written complaint within 90 days with the Department of Employment.

 

·        This bill increases the time within which a person may file a written complaint with the Department of Employment from 90 days to 6 months.
