·        Creates Wyoming water development account III for financing water storage projects.

 

·        Distributes certain severance taxes into the account (five-tenths of one percent (.5%) from the severance tax distribution account in W.S. 39-14-801).

 

·        The account is to be used for construction of dams with storage capacity of greater than 2,000 acre-feet or the expansion of existing dams of more than 1,000 acre-feet.

 

·        Transfers $54 million into the account from the Green River/Wind River construction project development fund (the balance of that fund); and $10 million from the budget reserve account (BRA).
