·        Current law provides for the board of county commissioners to set the fees and mileage, if any, of the coroner and deputy coroner of each county.

 

·        Bill authorizes the board of county commissioners to also set the salary of the coroner and deputy coroner.

 

Comments:

 

Bill does not increase the salary of any coroner during his current term of office as prohibited by the constitution.
