Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Recognizes the financial services industry and the many services and products that help individuals and families in this country.

 

·        Recognizes how financial management is essential to the well being of Wyoming citizens to ensure that they become responsible workers, heads of households, investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.

 

·        Asks that the legislature recognize the importance of basic financial education, encourage the department of education to include financial education curriculum in Wyoming, and for state agencies that administer programs providing education, job placement and job training to provide basic financial education to their constituents.
