Catch Title: State lands trust responsibilities.

Subject: Extends the task force on state lands trust responsibilities.

Summary/Major Elements:

· Extends the task force on state lands trust responsibilities by requiring recommendations due to the Joint Agriculture, Public Lands and Water Resources Interim Committee no later than September 1, 2006.

· Adds two topics to be included in the task force's final recommendations – those are:

o The administrative duties of the office of state lands in regards to state land trust responsibilities; and

o The funding of trust land management.

· Provides an appropriation of $20,000 to consider the two additional topics.

· Report Required: Requires a report by September 1, 2006 to the Joint Agriculture, Public Lands and Water Resources interim committee.
