Catch Title: Bio-security laboratory task force.

Subject: Creates a task force to study bio-security issues.

Summary/Major Elements:

· Creates an executive branch task force to study bio-security laboratory issues, needs and coordination in Wyoming and among various state and federal agencies.

· The task force will consult with the U.S. Department of Agriculture research service arthropod-borne animal diseases research laboratory.

· The task force will conduct a comprehensive review of other bio-security laboratories.

· Provides a general fund appropriation of $100,000.

Comments:

· Report required: No later than September 1, 2006, a report shall be given to the Joint Agriculture, Public Lands and Water Resources interim committee.

· Contains a delayed repeal date: The act terminates April 1, 2007.
