Catch Title: Wyoming livestock board reorganization.

Subject: Modifying the structure of the livestock board.

Summary/Major Elements:

· Modifies the board membership by providing that at least 3 sheep producers and at least 3 cattle producers will be on the board, and allows that if a vacancy exists on the board and no person is available to fill the position, the position can be filled by any livestock producer within the appointment district.

· Provides for a new full-time position for a director of the livestock board who serves at the pleasure of the state veterinarian.

· Provides for deputy state veterinarians to serve at the pleasure of the state veterinarian.

· Provides for deputy directors to serve at the pleasure of the director.

· Provides an appropriation of $221,500.00 from the general fund.
