Creates a legislative task force of 7 members (3 Senate, 4 House) to study the property tax classification of industrial and commercial property related to the communications industry.

Department of Revenue is to provide necessary administrative staffing and support of the task force.

The task force is to study the composition of the current property tax classification of industrial and commercial properties related to the communications industry and study the department of revenue's methodology for assessment and valuation of that property.

Comments:

· Report Required – Task force is to report its findings to the joint revenue interim committee not later than December 15, 2006.

· Appropriates $25,000 to the LSO for the expenses of the task force.
