Catch Title: Ignition interlock devices.

Subject: Authorization of restricted license following installation of alcohol detection ignition interlock device.

Summary/Major Elements: This act:

· Creates a new category of restricted driver's license called "ignition interlock restricted license";

· Makes the new license available to some drivers who have served at least 45 days of an alcohol-related suspension or revocation;

· Directs WyDoT to adopt rules for certification of ignition interlock installers and verification of installations;

· Provides criteria for eligibility and grounds for suspension or revocation of the ignition interlock restricted license;

· Defines new violations for driving without a required ignition interlock device or interfering with the operation of the device.
