· Creates the Wyoming Structured Settlement Protection Act;

· Provides definitions;

· Establishes procedures for the transfer of structured settlement payment rights from a payee to a third party acquiring the rights to the structured settlement payments;

· Requires disclosure of specified information to interested parties;

· Specifies the district courts with jurisdiction to approve a transfer;

· Specifies the effects of a transfer of the structured settlement payments;

· Provides that transfer agreements entered into on or after July 1, 2006 in Wyoming shall be governed under the laws of this state.
