Summary/Major Elements:  This act:

· Amends the duties of the Select Committee on Developmental Programs.

· Directs the Committee to report on:

o Status of rules adoption by the developmental disabilities division;

o A feasibility study on cost-based reimbursement for services in the adult, child and acquired brain injury programs;

o Implementation of funding mechanisms in the developmental preschool program;

o A transition plan for continued oversight of the developmental disabilities division by the joint labor, health and social services interim committee.

· Appropriates $17,000 from the general fund to the Legislative Service Office for Select Committee activities through December 31, 2007.
