Catch Title:       Game and fish-license revenue recoupment.

Subject:           General fund appropriation to replace revenues from free and reduced price licenses.

Summary/Major Elements:

· The act requires the game and fish department to annually prepare a report of licenses sold or issued in the previous year under statutes requiring free or reduced prices be charged for those licenses.

· The report will be submitted to the state auditor with a request for payment for the difference between the amount received by the department and the cost of a full price adult license corresponding with each type of license sold.

· The act requires the department to submit a budget request to fund the program in the future.

· Appropriates fund to the game and fish department from the general fund to replace lost revenues.
