Summary/Major Elements:

• Provides for an increase in salaries, cost-of-living adjustments, mileage, insurance, retirement contributions and other expenses for state brand inspectors so long as the budget is fully supported by actual anticipated revenues along with the appropriation provided in this bill. 

• Provides an appropriation of $1,337,675.00 from the general fund to the Wyoming Livestock Board to fund 35% of the operation of the brand inspection program from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.

• Requires the Wyoming Livestock Board to collect daily time sheets from all brand inspectors to accurately account for the amount of time brand inspectors spend on all duties, including public benefit activities.  These activities will be reviewed and summarized annually by the department of administration and information budget office.
