Catch Title:       Funeral protesting.

Subject:  Creates crime of unlawful protesting at a funeral and provides penalties.

Summary/Major Elements:

· A person is guilty of a misdemeanor by protesting, picketing or otherwise causing a breach of the peace within 300 feet of a cemetery, church, building or other facility at which a funeral or memorial service is being conducted within 1 hour before, during or 1 hour after the funeral or memorial service.

· The penalty for a violation of this section is imprisonment for not more than 6 months, a fine of not more than $750, or both.
