· This act:

· Creates the crime of making or possessing contraband in, or conveying contraband into, a penal institution or correctional facility;

· Defines "contraband" and "penal institution or correctional facility" for purposes of the act;

· Provides a penalty of not more than one year, a fine of not more than $2,000.00, or both, for violation of the act.
