Summary/Major Elements:

· Prior law required county commissioners to furnish the newspaper with the proceedings within 12 working days following each meeting.

· New law requires the board to furnish the meeting proceedings to the newspaper within 12 working days following adjournment of the meeting if the next scheduled meeting will be called to order in 2 weeks' time or less; or within 18 working days following adjournment of the meeting if the next scheduled meeting will be called to order in more than 2 weeks' time.
