Summary/Major Elements:

· Judicial salaries were increased for the 2007-2008 biennium in the 2006 Budget Bill as a budget footnote (see 2006 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 35, Section 315).

· This act:

· Codifies the salary increases authorized in the 2006 budget bill;

· Appropriates the funds necessary to pay for the salary increases and specifies that this appropriation is intended to replace the appropriation provided in 2006 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 35, Section 315;

· Repeals 2006 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 35, Section 315;

· Increases annual salaries for:

· Supreme court justices to $119,300.00;

· District court judges to $113,600.00;

· Circuit court judges to $93,200.00.
