Subject:  Authorizes special license plates for emergency medical technicians.

Summary/Major Elements:  This act:

· Authorizes issuance of distinctive vehicle license plates identifying the registrant as a person certified by the Department of Health as an emergency medical technician (EMT);

· Provides that specialty EMT license plates shall otherwise comply with requirements regarding application dates, renewal, fees, size and color as regular license plates, except the county numerals need not be included.
