· This act:

· Specifies that assistance to airports to meet state or federal security configuration requirements shall qualify as an enhanced air service for purposes of funding from the air services enhancement account;

· Amends criteria to be considered by the Aeronautics Commission in reviewing grant applications under the air services enhancement program by eliminating specific criteria about potential funding sources and requiring only that funding from other sources is unavailable for the proposed air services enhancement.
