Comments: The following reports are required under the budget bill:
· A&I – report to JAC on the feasibility of adding new, and retrofitting existing vehicles fueled with natural gas to the state’s vehicle fleet by November 1, 2010.
· Employment – report to JAC and Labor and Health Committee on the outcome to date of trials associated with workers’ comp back and spinal injury treatment pilot program before 2012 legislative session.
· DOT – report to the Transportation Committee the detailed FY 2011 budgeted income and expenditures from the highway fund, as approved by the transportation commission by October 1, 2010.
· DOH – report from State Hospital to JAC annually on the use of self-generated fees – renewal of current report requirement, by November 1.
· DFS – report to JAC and Judiciary Committee on historical utilization of residential treatment facilities certified as child caring facilities by July 1, 2011.
· UW – report to JAC and Labor and Health Committee on the feasibility and costs of establishing a physician’s assistant education program by November 1, 2010.
· Retirement System – JAC to review retirement system cost of living increases and sponsor legislation in the 2011 legislative session to appropriately address the issue.
· DOC & Community College Commission – report to JAC and Education Committee the findings of an assessment of the feasibility of providing coursework at all state correctional facilities by December 1, 2010.
· DOC – report to JAC on assessments of medical care costs at correctional institutions by December 1, 2010.
· DOC – report to JAC and Judiciary Committee on the reestablishment of the sex offender treatment program by December 1, 2010.
· UW Medical Education - report to JAC and Labor and Health Committee on the feasibility and cost of increasing the number of WWAMI seats for Wyoming students to 20 by July 1, 2010.
· Education – report to JAC and Education Committee the findings of a study evaluating costs and effectiveness of the national certification incentive program for teachers by October 1, 2010.
· Governor – ongoing report via B-11 process any reductions to agency budgets under the budget reduction authority due to revenue shortfalls.
· Supreme Court – budget requests submitted to JAC by November 1, 2010 for 2011-2012 supplemental requests, and by November 1, 2011 for 2013-2014 biennial budget requests.
· A&I CIO division – report to Governor and JAC on recommendations for consolidation of state information technology functions by October 1, 2010.
· School of Energy Resources – report to JAC and Minerals Committee regarding the carbon sequestration research and demonstration project by November 1, 2010.
· UW/distance education task force – report to Governor and JAC by the distance education task force on progress and expenditures of the distance education center located at UW by November 1, 2010 and November 1, 2011.
· UW/video conferencing task force – report to Governor and JAC by the statewide video conferencing task force on progress of establishing video conferencing capabilities which minimize duplication of efforts before 2011 legislative session, and subsequent report to the Governor and Legislature by September 1, 2011.
· ARRA reporting – report to the governor and JAC all funds received by a city, town, or county under federal stimulus programs by December 1, 2010.
· Joint minerals, business and economic development interim committee directed to develop legislation for introduction in 2011 legislative session to make the pipeline authority a state agency.
· Joint minerals, business and economic development interim committee directed to develop legislation for introduction in 2011 legislative session to make the infrastructure authority a state agency.
· School Facilities Commission – report monthly to the select school facilities committee in a matrix format all capital construction projects and component level projects for which funds have been encumbered.
· School Facilities Commission must hold a public hearing in Big Horn, Wyoming before May 1, 2010 to address maintenance and construction options for Sheridan County school district no. 1 elementary school facility at Big Horn Wyoming.
· Select committee on school finance recalibration must report recommendations for legislation regarding recalibration in time for consideration in the 2011 legislative session.
· Select committee on developmental disabilities – report to Legislature and Governor on the evaluation of costs, methods, and levels of services provided in developmental disabilities programs by October 1, 2010
· Audit – report to select committee on school facilities on school facilities commission post audit results by September 1, 2010.
· Select school facilities committee – report to JAC, made available to the public, with at least one public hearing on a proposed plan to reorganize the school facilities commission by September 1, 2010.
