Summary/Major Elements:

· The act transfers the Serve Wyoming program, the governor's council for employment and rehabilitation of the handicapped and the displaced worker and education programs from the governor's office to the department of workforce services.

· The act renames the council for employment and rehabilitation of the handicapped as the state rehabilitation council.

· The act provides for transfer of information to an employing unit or an individual when permission is obtained from the unit or individual providing the information.

· The act expands the membership of the state rehabilitation counsel (formerly the council for employment and rehabilitation of the handicapped)
