· The act allows the department of state lands and cultural resources to dispose of, designate or remove from designation certain lands without complying with the site criteria process and without requiring separate legislation if:

· The disposal, designation or removal of designation involves property less than five acres in size;

· The action conforms with the department's mission or strategic plan;

· The action conforms with the master plan for the site affected; and

· The action is presented to the joint travel, recreation, wildlife and cultural resources interim committee for informational purposes prior to completion of the action.
