● Under current law, any person eligible for a special handicapped placard may apply to the county treasurer for a special license plate indicating that status for a vehicle owned by the person.

● This act clarifies that the county treasurer shall issue a set of special license plates for each vehicle and motorcycle registered to the qualified person.
