● Under current law the nurse practice act does not prohibit the practice of professional and practical nursing that is an integral part of a program by students enrolled in a board approved nursing program leading to initial licensure.

● This act amends that provision to state that the nurse practice act does not prohibit the practice of nursing by persons enrolled in a board approved nursing program when the practice is part of their program of study.
