Subject:                     Requires recorded votes of boards where the five statewide elected officials are members.

Summary/Major Elements:

· This legislation clarifies that the Governor is the chairman of the State Building Commission.  This clarification makes the Governor’s position on the State Building Commission consistent with his position on the Office of State Lands and Investments and the Board of Land Commissioners.

· The legislation also requires a recorded vote on all matters constituting final action by the State Building Commission, the State Loan and Investment Board and the Board of Land Commissioners.
